Release notes

Every version of Laundrix, newest first. Versions follow semantic versioning: patch releases fix bugs, minor releases add features compatibly, major releases may need migration work. See software update information before upgrading.

Version 1.0.0

First production release.

Platform

  • Multi-tenant architecture with server-enforced company isolation, a central permission system (84 permissions, 16 role templates), audit log and per-company encrypted provider keys.
  • Plans, trials, feature gating, grace period and read-only mode, with a platform admin area.

Operations

  • Orders with point of sale, server-calculated pricing, rush tiers and configurable discounts with approval rules.
  • Garment-level tracking: QR and Code 128 tags, inspection records, production stages, workstations, quality control, rework, damage and lost-item cases, rewash and returns.
  • Pickup and delivery with a dispatch board and driver workflow (OTP and signature), including offline-safe updates.
  • Inventory, equipment maintenance, expenses, documents and staff attendance.

Customers and finance

  • Customer portal, public tracking, online booking, loyalty tiers, referrals, corporate accounts, recurring orders and customer subscription plans.
  • Payments (cash, transfer, card, wallet, account credit), Paystack with verified webhooks, invoices, statements and PDF receipts with the company logo.

Insight and integrations

  • Dashboard, analytics, exportable reports, notifications, optional AI assistant, public API with scoped keys and signed webhooks. Providers that are not configured show “Integration not configured”.

Production readiness

  • Shared Postgres-backed rate limiting, S3-compatible file storage, email password reset, a scheduled-jobs endpoint for Vercel Cron or any scheduler, startup configuration warnings, structured error logging, robots and sitemap.
  • Company logo upload, a company drop-down on sign-in, password visibility toggle and confirmation, and a refreshed interface with the Laundrix brand.
  • Public live demo at /demo: instant role-based sign-in to a sandbox company with risky features switched off, reset nightly.
  • Documentation section with installation, user manual, tutorials, update guidance and developer resources; a command to create the platform admin.

Known limitations

  • Push notifications are not implemented; SMS and WhatsApp adapters are untested with live accounts; customer subscription plans are not billed automatically; company plan renewal uses a manual checkout; there is no live driver map; the mobile wrapper is configuration only.
